Great for Photographers and Lovers of French Impressionism

Nestle into a cottage just south of Avignon, close proximity to the sites and colours of Provence. Enjoy the market of St. Remy before visiting Van Gogh’s sanitorium just outside the village as well as Arles and Stes. Maries de la Mer. Roman ruins and cliff top villages as well as the Mediterranean Sea offer many photographic opportunities. Cezanne’s Aix-en-Provence means a drive along the path to Mont Ste.Victoire and a visit to his studio just as it was in his time. In and around Paris discover the other impressionists: Monet’s Garden and the Marmottan Musuem to see his original works.

The four days in and around Paris include visits to the Musée d`Orsay, Monet's Gardens in Giverny and the Virtual Impressionist Museum in the Chateau d`Auvers to help us understand what inspired these artists at the turn of the century. A walking tour of Paris will take us to the scenes painted by famous artists such as Renoir, Toulouse Lautrec and Dégas.
